The first edition of the Pontevedra Triathlon Premium European Cup in 2008 was hard due to the cold weather, especially during the women’s race. The athletes also fought against the cold and the rain. First was Kathrin Muller (GER), with a time of 02:05:31, second was Melanie Annheim (SUI) over a minute later and third was the Ukrainian Oleysa Prystayco.
